well I have been on this board before it moved here. So i guess i have been on this board since 2000 or 2001, can't remember the correct year.
My first accord was 86 LX. I hated the carb and all those vacuum lines.
My second accord that i own at present time is 86 LXI auto. I bought it for $150 with blown engine. After a month of rebuilding the engine and swapping to 5 speed, it ran.
So i guess i am a true veteran.

well like i was saying at picos house....i googled 1988 honda accord and for some reason oldschoolswap page came up.....this was back in 2003. i saw a link to 3geez but i never joined just looked for like 10 mins....anyways one day i was looking for carb help and i found it again....i joined but i forgot wut email i used to activate my account....so i just looked around then i came up with messyhonda88dx after my first car....i got to say this board is very friendly....some people are like family here.....its always good to know that your not the only one with problems or mods plus i like to help out ppl and share the knowleg

well for me this is my first car it was handed down to my from my mom she got a 2002 2 door civic which is fun to drive but i like the accord better:thumbup: i joined back in 2002 2003 under a different screen name but forgot the password so i made a new one lol. i like reading the different blogs about mods and other things to make the these cars look and drive better and all the people on here seem really nice and willing to help out.

I had just bought an 88 accord ex-i and was just searching it online and found this site... joined, and now i always check to see wut u guys are doing to your 3gee to give me ideas.... my car is now parked since i've started school and dont make enough money for insurance now... but im planning to start doing some body work over the winter... fixing rust mainly maybe start shaving moulding depends how good i get at fiberglassing lol

I didn't want to make the this thread, but my curiosity over-ruled. If you want to contribute, we would all like to hear.
Anyhow, I'll try to make this short. I've owned the car 3 years before I joined this site. (just a fact)
One of the main reasons I come back to visit the forum is to help out in the mechanical section & see what people are doing to their cars. I'm all about cars BTW.

Pretty much the same. I love the design of my car and I have had it 10+ years now. I really started here because of a few people that used to be on here spewing a bunch of garbage that was untrue just to make themselves a profit but that has since past. :rant:

I really think theres been nice progress of knowledge in the last few years. Just look at some of the older post.

yeah dude...i know youre only what 16, trust me in life....what people think or care does not matter. it shouldnt be the deciding factor of your happiness. yeah we have been giving you a hard time...but we all went through it. there was months when people wouldnt stop calling me gay here lol...dont know why but whatever. plus you kinda do have to admit some threads you post are kinda weird. lol which causes us to just lash at you because....you have to realize that someone is paying for this (foundation members, admins, owners) and its not really cool to just waste space on the server. though only a few words dont take up much space...a shitload of threads with very little words do.

Because the national Honda forum around here is a bunch of majorly stuck up civic and teg owners for the most part. You people here arent :)

Anyhow, I just want to thank everyone for the replies. It was nice to see why everyone comes back to visit this forum. I personally have been around for a few years visiting here. I have a few friends I shoot the shit with. I've played pool with a few people off here & one of the staff members. The site is like my second habit besides my love for working on cars. I might get a little pissed off at times with things, but that is me & don't pay attention to me if I rub you wrong. I've lived by strict rules in life & that is my other side.

I feel at home here & love this site cause it is laid back. I think some of you as my own family & I try to help in fixing your 3 gee. (with what I kow about it, I mostly work on modern day cars)

Man, I thought about leaving this forum a couple of times. I finally come to realize that I don't give a shit what people think of me or anyting in the nature of it. People either are, or going to accept you for who you are, or they can deal with. You need to have your own since of pride of who you are & not let this internet car forum rule your 'mindset'.....
I've called you "riceboy", but that is just a nickname. DO NOT let anyone of us make you feel less of a person of what you are. WE are ALL TALK on here & none of us want to make you feel inferior as a person. OK..... Don't take this internet car forum so personal. Personalities, reality, PEEPS, that in itself is self explanitory, I get aggrivated with some folks here but hell it really is not that serious.
