Yep that's my baby,
she's pretty much stock.

1989 Si Accord, only mods ive done so far is
2xneons under the dash, i've redone the air filter with a cone under the hood. Ive just tinted the reflectors, indicators and side markers.

In the next few months, assuming I save enough and my job holds out, I will get a sound system, windows tinted, new exhaust and a set of 17 rims.

I want a B20!

It's weird, there are two different Si Accords in Australia...both with the Si badges.

Si 1 = the most common with the A20A4 motors in them. (like mine)

Si 2 = VERY VERY VERY rare, with the B20 DOHC motor. I know a guy with one, his is unique. And it's the only one ive seen.

It has the USDM style bumper with clear markers. Metal trimmings on the door rubber stoppers, and a metal strip in the gap between the front bumper and the lights and all that above it. No antenna at all. And his A/c controller was all digital.

I wish someone could explain its very existance.

the Aussie Accords, tail lights are diff to the US ones. Our orange indicators are on the left and right hand corner.

However yesterday I saw something interesting, I saw an 89 Hyundai Sonata and the rear end of it was practically identical toa US accord, the taillights and shape of the rear.

I was thinking whether or not I could rip the tail lights off one and use it as spares.


Accord wrecks around here are kinda rarish.

There are a few auto wreckers in Geelong, and ive only found 1 accord. It's an old EX carbd 1986 model. That was the accord the guy ripped body arts off to repair mine.

I gotta rip the camshaft out of it and the gauge cluster. There's nothing left worth taking.

As for coming to NJ....it's tempting, taking a trip to the US to get some parts for my car....

SYdney! ive been wanting to go up there got ages. It's pathetic ive lived in australia all my life and i've only seen about 0.25% percent of it.

I live in the South, in Victoria....pretty close to the coast, but closer to melb.

I dont follow cricket, I think it's really boORRING! I kind of follow the AFL, shit, ive got a semi famous afl footballer living in the appartment below mine.

However our cricket team had a close shave in Pakistan... :(

My car has a cool sound since i ripped out the stock air box and put on the cone filter. I got a cheap $40 cone, stuck it on and it works miracles. ANd makes the car sound sShWeet!

your car must be the SOHC Si because if you had the DOHC you'd be screaming the motor after punching it in that dirt. shit i can make my USDM POS carb spin pretty good with automatic. How much HP or does anybody know the power conversion to kilowatts or whatever? Your motor sounds mean though, I can tell you have an intake. Next time hold the emergency brake while you spin the tires.

i need $700 AU to get it done by Honda, (everything)

But i figure that's pricy.

I've already replaced spark plugs, oil & filter, soon ill get a new fuel filter, valves readjusted and timing readjusted.

I dont have the tools to do any of it myself.

Then ill take the tranny to an auto specialist and get them do a propper job.

I just got a video capture card today, a cheapo one...but its not working yet till I get this fucken win98 shit off my system, which I cant do for another week. Then its back to Win2k...my sys is FUUUCCCKKKEEEEED! windows is messed up.

and im waiting to get my video camera fixed...well i need the money to fix it. :(
