Got it fixed. My car rides really well. Went along withmy friends for a car cruise last night. Kept up with a 3rd gen sentra, an EK9, but got left in the dust from an integra typeR. It was fun. Vacummed the interior, took off some stickers and now waiting for some rims to put on. Next week, we'll primer the car, then cut springs to lower the ride.

just buy some real lowering springs... even some coil over cost like 60-80 bucks

Do not cut the springs, your just asking for bad things to happen. Buy some coilovers.

if you cut the springs, your ride will be very very bumpy.

thats one of the stupiest things ive seen...wuts the point of taking out the springs? it does not look or handle any better....i bet the ride is crap....and if you are that low you would not be able to clear a speed but or a driveway.

So coilovers is much better?

well you can adjust your ride....so you can have a full 3 inch drop and when you get sick of it you can adjust it to a 1inch drop... so yeah...plus how about if you cut the springs and then it way off...anyways its your choice.

its just a car to drive around the roads for fun :) only a idiot would do that to a daily driver lol

if it's a daily driver just regular springs that give you a 1.5 drop is good. With coilovers if you don't have good shocks your still gonna have a bumpy ride depending on what you get trust me. Also it's not like your gonna be raising and lowering it on a regular anyway for a daily driver unless you autox or race on the weekends. That's just me but it's your choice.

dunno if it would work on a 3gee, but someone done this:

year bo that was me, in the bottom of the shockies rod there is a valve that only lets a certain amount of oil/air through as the shock moves up and down. the original oil in shockies is real thin like sewing machine oil and is there more for lube than anything else, so if you can increace the viscosity and quantity of the oil the shock has more trouble moving up and down because the oil has to go through the valve too.
so on some vehicles at the top of the body of the shock there is a big nut, if your shocks have this then you can pull them apart
pull the whole strut out, remove the spring, remove the big nut, pull the shock rod out, tip out the oil, refill the shock now heres where it gets tricky if the oil is too thick or too much the shock won't move at all so guess, i found that if the shock is worn out 75/90 is ok if its still good as then dx3 auto trans oil will do, next fill the empty shock case about a quarter with the oil, hold it over a drain tray, refit the shock rod, then push the rod all the way down, heaps of oil will squish out, then pull it all the way up put the nut back on and reassemble, its easy as and takes about the same time as it does to chop springs

hmmm theres a little flaw to that.... just like in R/C cars (im nerdy) but regular oil will break down and corrode the interior of the strut... sooo*** get shock oil not regular oil... your struts wont last mor then a few months maybe even a couple of weeks before they are worn because the rubber seals inside
