Thats pretty cool. I used to play that game (Midtown Madness 1 & 2) all the time when I was 13/14. I still have it somewhere. I'm going to go find it and download that car.

Its a racing game for the pc (well, MM 1 & 2 were; MM 3 was for XBOX i think). They have certain citys that you can "cruise" around in, or you can race a bunch of other cars on set courses within that city. I think you can race other people online too. I really liked it when I used to play back when I was younger.

Oh, and its one of the few racing games that have a "dashboard view". That was one of the reasons why I originally got it.

They have a wide selection of cars to race in too. You can drive a city metro bus, a fire truck, a freightliner semi, a mustang gt, the old and new mini coopers, a london cabby and that red london bus ( i dont know the technical name for it).

Midtown madness was and still is really 1 of the most fun unadulterated driving games of yesteryear! I have all 3 games in the series and hope 4 come for the 360 in fact that was the only reason i got the xbox to play no 3!

has any1 had a chance to download it yet? I would but i dont have a computer right now! go to mmc to get more cool downloads and a new york download is out there somwhere!

Yeah I downloaded it. The 3g looks realistic when your playing, but thats about it. It sounds like a race car, very high pitched. And its portrayed to be "powerful". It spins wheels very easily, but i never took it up to its top speed. If I was on a hill, it would sit there and spin the wheels for 5 seconds when I try to go forward up the hill. And the dashboard does not look like the 3g's.

Yeah there is one in GT4 it's in the Classic Car shop...:)... Make sure you have some money though..it sucks when you first buy it....Its an 88 coupe by the way.

Mine has a turbo and over 250HP :)

It's still hard to tune though. And it's only good for a few races. FF Challenge and Sunday Cup. Technically you can enter it in the later races, but you have to put a LOT of money into it first. I mostly use it in multiplayer just to live out my fantasy of whooping on people in a 3G.

Back when my PS2 worked (p.o.s.), I used to play Gran Turismo all the time. I had the previous 3, and I rented GT4. The 3g when stock in that game is slow. And why does it have 4 gears instead of 5?

I just put a 6-speed (fully adjustable) in mine. Took care of that problem. "GT4, where even the 3G has an aftermarket!"

And of course it's slow it has a stock A20A.

You mean are we serious that GT4 has the 88 Accord Coupe? Yes.

I don't know if the PSP version has all the cars that the PS2 version does, so I can't answer your second question, but PS2 are going to be really damn cheap, and the game is like $20 new, so I suggest you just get it. It's quite worth it.

So what did you guys use to get it into the game?

The best I can do right now is export to OBJ format... nothing seems to take it... only 3ds, lwo, etc. which I don't have. :(


I took a look at nismoracer99's (http://www.mm2x.com/page.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=24) model, pretty nice, he even modeled seat belts... but his muffler is shitty :)

Good attention to detail on parts of the front bumper... also good detail where the pillars for the roof of the car merge to the rest of the body along the 4 corners.

I don't know if this is a coupe thing but the rear wheels sit further back on the coupe then on the sedan... so is that real life proportions then?
