oh and it never gos over hafe wich sender i saw 2 on the housing i was going to replace it with a after maket one but i did not know where to hook up the new wire

my astro did the same thing, the heat temp gauge acted as a tachometer...all the electrical was whacked on that van, so its most likely screwed up wires...
