My newly purchased 1988 Honda Accord 4dr 5spd LX. I bought this Honda because I need better gas mileage, and I had a Prelude before I traded it in on a 97 Ford Mustang GT (that I still have and drive, its been converted to a show stang since 2003) and I really missed having a good, strong running honda.

She's got a few blemishes, but its fine. She will be good as new soon :) Right now, im just glad to have found one in the condition that this ones in.

Welcome:welcome:. I always thought those rims would look good on a 3g, I guess my suspicion was correct. I believe those are 04-05 Civic rims, but I might be wrong. Anyways, welcome, there's a lot to learn here. You'll become addicted like most of us.

97 Stang GT, shes away for winter (hence the accord) and I miss her, but man the accord was fun to drive this morning to school :) haha.

So far her insides are out, ready for new carpet and seats, swapping her engine (again) this time from a 4.6 to a 5.0, and new transmission (auto to stick). So yeah, the honda will be driven pretty good :D

Ive always liked a Honda in a Manual, cant bring myself to like the auto hondas.

i don't blame you for not liking honda autos. they're weak slushboxes, especially ours. i'm working on the second one i've killed myself. i'm going with a manual swap, dammit.

the mustang looks great, man. how much do you have invested in that car?

how much did you pay for the honda? i payed $500 for my latest one with a trans on the way out (that i knew about) and some bent suspension (that i didn't know about). the wheels on it were mille miglia spyders, which don't look nearly as nice as what you have there (civic stocks alloys).

i think you'll be happy with the honda as a daily driver. if nothing else, they make great cheap transportation that doesn't bore you to death or pound you to bits.

Nice EX rims! I guess you're not going to fix her up much, but it looks good anyhow. Your Mustang is hot!

Payed 890 for it, which seemed like a pretty good deal to me. I just needed a cheap second honda, and I wouldnt settle for an automatic (the mustang is auto and I HATE IT.) The mustang has 2K in the front end alone, that doesnt count the 2nd engine swap (3.8 to 4.6, and now over the winter 4.6 to 5.0), new seats/carpet, new duals and mufflers, headers, the 2nd paintjob and the rest of the body kit getting painted. Its costed the hell out of me, LOL.

Thanks! I thought the rims looked great on it, they stand out with that color and btw, Sunshine + those rims and that champagne color = BADASS. It looked so good this afternoon at the gas station :P Im going to fix most of her dings, maybe replace the seat upholstery (with every car, its showing its age now) and clean her up real good. She's still pretty dirty, its been raining alot and too cold to clean her up just yet. And thanks for the comment on the stang, Im glad to see it recognized, ive poured so much sweat and tears into that car :)

Not real sure yet, I think I need to debate that, LOL.

The mustang is sitting right on the ground, and personally its not the best riding car, and Im a little worried about the accord riding tough. I dont want two cars that sit on the ground and ride rough, LOL. What do you guys think?
