replace your termostat...and check if the fans go on when it gets hot.

have you tried cleaning your radiator, engine block and heater core.
you can do the engine flush and it may help.
I do have to agree that OEM honda thermostat is a lot better quality. I know that from experience.

there are two types that were available for accord.
metal base and plastic base.
the plastic one (88-89) models brake a lot around radiator cap or on the bottom. they don't hold pressure very good at all.
The metal one is from 86-87. it can hold pressure.
I say you best bet would be go to local parts store and pick up metal one. it will last you a lot longer.
do the system flush too.

Just ordered mine:) I needed a new one because my stock one got a crack in it after my accident and is currently patched with some high heat epoxy putty. Can't wait till it gets here.

mine is dual core....they also got some OEM replacements with dual core like the one i have in my dx...but its a metal top and it does not cool good since the car warms up in like 3 mins and on my lx-i it takes like 9 mins...

I'd bet the one you have in the DX is an aluminum core. Those do not cool as well as the copper core does.

I would spend the extra $20 and get the koyo one. I have it in my car and i love it. It says that it is supposed to keep your car 30% cooler then the stock radiator and from the aftermarket gauge i have in my car it acutally reads about 30% cooler then it did before. i think i spent $105 shipped for mine off of ebay.

yea the reason i wanted it was it was cheaper than what we could get from our supplyer and it was high flow
