But, I can't find em. In all my junkyard adventures, I haven't been able to find a passenger side mirror for my '82.
Anyone trying to get rid of one? Possibly? Maybe?

I know my 86 DX never had one, just a cap where the side mirror should go, I thought it was weird.

I've gone thru a few junkyards, but, haven't had any luck. I've gotten my hands on plenty of other fun things, but, not a passenger side mirror. Oh well. When I find one, there will definitely be some photos soon after installation.

I don't think that the 3gee mirrors will bolt onto a 2gee will they?

On the 2nd gens, the passenger mirror was an option. Didn't come standard on any car as far as I know.

I "might" have one, I know I have one from my parents 83, and my first hatch (the 83) had one on the passengers side as well. The replacement doors and the original doors on my 82 don't have it, so I'm gonna be using one for sure. If I can find the other one I'll let you know, but i'm super busy right now, plus it just snowed a foot and a half today.

They were dealer added accessories on the passenger side on all 82-5 Accords EXCEPT the se-i and the 3 door LX's. Most dealers added the passenger side mirror and jacked up the price when the cars were new. I believe 82-5 used the same mirrors, but you need to match the body style for the mirror to fit right (hatch or sedan). It's tough to find them anymore (used), but you will eventually. I had a time finding one for my hatch, but finally did!

so the ones from the 4 door won't fit the hatch? that makes no sense.

Could be that the different doors on the 3 doors and 4 doors had different shapes up front. You wouldn't think they are different, but maybe the screw pattern is slightly off... Doesn't the hatch have a slightly longer windshield?

Yeah, I think it's the angle at the very front point of the door. I'm pretty sure they are not interchangeable due to different shapes at the apex...

The mirrors on the 82-83 are specfic to that model. The 84-85 mirrors will fit but are a different shape/size & may look odd unless you renewed them as pair. They would fit the door perfectly though if it was the only option. As said I'm pretty sure hatch/sedan mirrors will differ cos of the shape of the door.

So, I found 'em. It was only $6 at the junkyard. I was able to snag some back seats, too. The originals were pretty thrashed. The car survived many years parked on the street. Amazingly enough, it survived my childhood. I'll get photos up here soon.

Awesome man! Anxious to see them. Good to see some more people fixing up their 2nd Gens.

Its definitely being fixed up. Once the wiring is done (hopefully today), its getting dynamat and new carpet. Was black an interior color option in '82?
