serious question bout paint

ok this winter im planing on talking to body shops about work on my car... so if i get my rust fixed finally lol what color

i really want that nighthawk black pearl cause its like a big O on the car but i dunno black is hard to keep clean... so does anyone have other suggestions on neutral colors or shades cause i dont think i want to go with bright if any color

if i was you i would look around websites and dealerships. that is the best way to find a nice color you like.
personatly i like dark red, burgundy or what i like to call dack cherry.
it would look good on the car with black rims.

Black on a car is the most awesome color, it shows the body lines so well. Downside is, the bodywork underneath better be IMMACULATE because black is like a mirror on your car body. The slightest wave in a body panel will show big time. Plus, like you said, it's pure freaking hell to keep clean, and here in Tx heat in the summer, your car turns into a kiln inside.

I like bold colors, like a Dodge Flame Red, or a Candy red, or a bright blue. Toyota has a beautiful dark metallic blue on their 03 up 4 Runners that I had ALMOST thought about for my car but didnt want to go the extra mile to jamb the car and do the underside of the trunk and engine bay to do the color change right so Im sticking with stock Laurel Blue for my repaint.

yeah...thats why i dont want to paint my car...il just use the 50 DIY paint job.

i say you jsut paint it white again because then you dont have to worry about the engine bay missmatching

Just go with whatever color you want. IMO Stock color is the way to go but if your going to go all out then definatly go with another color. :)

That car needs it's bumpers changed out to the painted white ones. Black textured bumpers are the cheapest of the cheap options. Why would you want to purposely make a car look as cheap as possible?? :dunno:

ya i like painted bumbers and if i could get a color close enought to my own in a spray can that wasent like 20 bucks a can id prolly paint all my trim the same color

i, personally, would not recommend black at all. i was thinking about painting my car black, but with all the body work, its going to show some no matter how well you go over it. might not be that noticeable, but later on you'll start getting swirl marks and any dings that occur will be more noticeable than on other colors. i would go with a grey of any shade. that would look great, and not show dirt as much. but i dunno. i'm probably going to go with the original gold color my 3gee came in to repaint it just for ease of painting. i plan to do mine sometime before summer comes around again.
