Yes i am beyond pissed right now. Blueberry was broken into. My CD player and Sirius Satellite radio was taken. My alarm just woke me up to go to work and my brother came in to my room and said "Your car was broken into bro the cops are outside!" I booked outside to find that it was all true. The cops were outside and asked me if that was my car i said yeah and he told me that they caught the guy and they have my stuff but i'll have to go in later to pick it up while they do what they gotta do. That guy is sooooo lucky that the cops got before me. Thats for gotdamn sure. Anyway im looking now to get an alarm system thats good but not too expensive for both my cars now.. Anyone recomend any thing thats out there?

you can't protect your car from broken window or something like that. alarms are there to keep the car from getting stolen not the stuff inside.

That's a good thing that no glass was broken. I'd look into the alarms that alert you via a pager or something when your car is disturbed.

Viper is good with a few different sirens... clifford is the company you should look through they put out a few different alarm systems.. i suggest multiple siren/ horns though... if its so loud that when you in it your ears bleed then its probably not loud enough...

also i forgot there was one post about just for the car not the stuff inside that is kinda correct.... thre are some with i think its called a peramiter or area sensor it basicaly scans the inside of your car for anything moving
(think its just a beam that is set in place) kinda like a trip alarm and if you set that about rib hieght right next to a door or from door to door im sure it would prevent people from getting into your car without being heard.... where to get one i dont know but im positive you can ask a local car shop to look into alarms for you to find out

You can always open the doors and remove all the rods that open it. just make sure you have keyless entry installed.

yeah...they just left me a broken window...it took me 2 hours to put in...i never want to do it again...il pay next time....our cars are very easy to get into...with my lx-i key i can open my dx door but not ignition.

see with me i had a friend with a geo who came thing happened so we took off the rods and had alot of fun dukes of hazzard style.. hehe country people we are interesting people.... anyways sometimes if you find a decent electronics store near you they can discount or take off most the price if you bring in other people to get alarms or even feature their logos on your car or bulk sale on your site.... local shops have atleast a few guys in there tlak to them all find the one you know and like the bst and see what deals you can make

hey man sorry to hear that. the alarm i have now is the shit. it is my favorite. its a crime stopper. i know the name sounds corny but its better than the vipers. its a full paging system. i can lock my shit from 3/4 mile away. if any sensor goes off, it will tell me 3/4 mile away. it has the standard shock sensor, a microphone sensor to detect broken glass, a motion sensor, and an optional vehicle movement sensor. if the car moves any direction over 1/2 inch while it is armed, it goes off. its got tons of other shit too for excesories. remote start, turbo timer mode, a bunch of shit. oh, and if you have two cars with the same system, you can control both cars because each remote has car1 and car 2 settings. so one remote controls both. its pretty cool. my good friend dwayne has his own shop that i helped with starting so when ever i need any thing its there. i can get them for $250. and depending on the supplier and the stock i can get them for $200. if you r interested let me know.

my neighbor told me about that alarm... he said he installed when he worked for some alarm company he recomened me that alarm....its good to know that you back it up also. i checked the site and it did look kinda chessy

hey i have been busy, sorry for the late response. if every one wants one i can set it up with my friend. oh and steven, i have seen many sets of blue lude seats like mine. only one prob. they have all been pretty fucked up. i go to the junkyard every saturday, so i always keep a lookout. in fact i was there this last saturday getting the rest of my interior,(doing a complete dark gray interior swap, 90% complete) and i saw 4 sei's. it was crazy. i havent seen that many at once since i did my disc swap a year ago. but yeah, when i find the right set for you, i will jump on it for sure.
