The fuel injected models had the larger wheels (14") to accomidate for the larger brakes
The carb'd models came with 13" rims because the brakes were smaller

oh i got it and the 86-87 fuel injected came with 13" anyways
oh i got it and the 86-87 fuel injected came with 13" anyways
Yup, I had 13" wheels on my LXi, and a 14" in the trunk as a spare.

I never heard of JDM wheels
And Leia, so if you would have gotten a flat, one side of the car would be a little higher? Because of 14" spare?

this style wheel was available in the US in 13 inch only. in europe, asia, austrialia, they came in both 13 and 14 inch. i've been looking for the 14's for years but no luck in getting them easily here to the US. just thought i'd share that with y'all. anyways, here's a few pix of my car with different wheels.
