edited: well it just hit me. your fuel cuts off at 6300-6500 rpm. that is why you can't pull any farther unless you remove the fuel cut off relay.

all map sensors dont throw out the same exact voltage at a given load. without calibratign your ecu to these settings I highly doudt you will se any gains other that runnig rich or lean in certain areas

I doubt it is the fuel cutoff if the stock sensor lets you pull past 6500
probably the ecu is not getting the correct sensor input range.

according to the 87 accord manual the ecu cuts fuel at about 6300-6500 rpm so maybe its cutting out at the same rpm you're just not noticing?

Thank you for your feed back guys but your way off base I Have a B20a with a chipped Pk2 Ecu and a Hypertech Tuner my fuel cut off is at 7800Rpms.ok this is what i did i took out the stock map sensor and i put a 3bar map sensor at 6500Rpms with the 3bar map sensor i lose power But with the stock map sensor i don't at all The Question i was asking has any one else Put a 3bar map sensor on there Accord and had the same Problem and if you have how did you fix it ?

I would check and see how much voltage the the 3 bar is putting out up to 6.5k and compare it to the stock one. As the others have said the ecu is not calibrated for the 3bar so the ecu may be reading off the wrong part of the fuel and ignition table. Do you have a wideband to check and see if you are runnig rich or lean?
