Right now i got an lxi and i also got an extra lx carbed motor and i want to get a cam grind. I no that the lxi have an aggresiver cam so will it hurt my performance to send in the cam from the carbed motor so that way i dont have to take out my Lxi cam. or does it matter which one.

no it doesn't matter, but i would call the company and ask them.

They should be able to rebuild either of the two cams to the specs you ask for. So while they may start out different, either one will come back how you ask for it.

delta said that i can send my cam in any time even after you have recieved the reground one i recommend calling delta i chose the 272 grind for a high rpm powerband here is their number....1-800-562-5500

and to the op: what level of performance are you looking to get out of your car? i suggest you browse the forum and realize what is attainable for streetability and price-wise first. bc lets say you get the cam, then want to go turbo. the cam will probably actually hurt more than help if you go turbo. stuff like that.
