MY BUDDY DID HOWEVER HOOK ANOTHER ONE UP TO A 460 BIG BLOCK, IT DID SPOOL, BUT WE JUST NEED A SMALLER TURBO TO SPOOL THIS ONE UP.

i bet someone with a d16 wiil buy it.

Airesearch Manufacturing Company seems to specialize in aerospace technology, which is probably where this monster turbo came from. Aircraft engines are often equipped with forced induction, so something of this size may very likely be used to feed a big engine (also consider the stratification at high altitudes and the size starts making sense). Also, considering the fact that there is no provision for air filtration at the inlet (no flange at all), the unit is not meant to be used in a dusty/dirty environment which would also point to aircraft use. Just my $.02

That must be some kind of jet turbo, but the first one you posted is a 16wheeler diesel turbo.
