ok , ive got a 89 lxi 4 door bla bla bla , anyways will a 92 civic intake fit my engine, everyone in here who done it from a 92 civic intake has like 88 and 86's , will it still work......and what all do i need, i seen a 92 - 94 civic intake just the polished alum part no filter, made by apc , if i get that and a filter will that be it , and how much do i need to cut off to make it fit............thanx :werd:

Yes, doesn't matter which year, as long as it's FI.
How much to cut? Try and test fit it first before cutting to be sure.

I needed about 4 inches just look and measure by eye because the filter will cover up the cut. Here are some picts

where can you buy the rubber couplers? You know, the short rubber peices you put halfway onto the intake tube and half on the filter/manifold then put those round clamps on and tighten it so it stays connected?

MY AEM One came with All that stuff along with all the grommits and plugs needed for 86 and 87 models it is a 92 BTW.

why do u wanna by a APC one? just make ur own from a U pipe.

you can buy them at any hardware store in the plumbing section near the pvc piping.
