Well i did some reasearch on CAI for our cars and i figured out that ones for the 5g accord will fit with a little cutting. So, I went on ebay and looked up some CAI, and would like to hear what you guys think of the ones i picked. Cause im a little sceptical when the CAI is only 15$...

i got 5th gen one. i got a black one it is fine constraction. it doesn't have enough vacuum connectors but i can drill and tap them myself.

get the first one in the list. i got a teg one for that price, it's legit. no need spending more money than you have to.

do you think ill have to get a new filter? I also think i have to get a bypass valve, we got some pretty weird weather up here

yeah i also wanted to get a K&N filter and a AEM bypass valve. but they cost like 80 bucks for both....one day mine sucked up hella water i felt the engine did not like it. so i need to get a bypass valve

well my dad mentioned today that it wouldnt be that grat to have a CAI in -20 weather, causing my engine to run rich. So i guess im gonna hold off buying one till spring

yeah i notice that my car smokes in the morning...and you can smell it running rich....but i still have it..its good power..lol

i need to jump on one of those soon. i can feel the power difference w/ my sri, but the idea of torque to go w/ it it is tantalizing. maybe that's where part of my xmas bonus will go...

i trust you. i just haven't gotten around to putting in my civic one. and i think i'll just buy a 7g (or is it 6g?) accord one instead since those appear to bolt on even easier than a teg. 2.5" piping for that torque. but come spring. either it's hot and dry as hell here or it's like now--cold and flooding.

yeah i think its the 5th gen accord one. it looks straighter also...wutever that 87lxiaccord dude got looks hot....teg one was a lil hard to put in and it has bends. good luck tho
