well the seller from what I gathered sells nothing but damaged items i know he had amenter sub just like the one i got that had a broken dust cover and with a litte epoxy Would be an easy fix

i use just silver bearing rosin core solder from radioshack. i've done everything from motherboards to speaker repair with the stuff. it's damn good stuff, but has a somewhat low melting point. it's still well above boiling point that it melts, but it's low for solder. it should work well for you, though.
