Sorry if this one has been posted already...

Woodog? Overdosed? Hard to pass that over, B20A, 5 speed, fog lights that have automatic folding covers :O, low 137,000km (100k miles) and the reserve is less than $1200 (US$650). If it wasn't 5 hours drive away I'd go check it out myself, looks like it just needs a re-paint on 2 doors.

and this is interesting... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=82650720&key=387627

Its funny they call it a Vigor instead of a accord. Over here Vigors look totally different. That blue one is tight also but a little bit pricey.

They do not call it a Vigor instead of an Accord. It's a Vigor period. The Vigor we have here is the same Vigor they have there.

Carotman is right.

1st gen Vigor = 2nd gen Accord
2nd gen Vigor = 3rd gen Accord
3rd gen Vigor = variation of 4th gen Accord. They also started making the Accord Inspire which is a 5 cylinder very similar to the Vigor, but has like a vast amount of headlights/driving lamps. There was also the Ascot (4 clylinder, ugly) and later the Ascot Inova which I think was the european Accord.

Later on they had the Accord, Ascot, Inspire, Sabre and Vigor. The japs seem to keep every market's accord and just rename it.

That car for sale in fact both of those cars are accords. The vigors are made by acura over here in the U.S. Even JDM accords are called accords not vigors.

I really can't understand what you just tried to say there. It is a "Honda Vigor", in the same fashion that there is the "Honda Integra" etc. etc. There is no big ol' consumer whore "Acura" in JDM-land my friend... just different trim levels of Honda.

I know that lol. There is no Jdm Acura its all Honda. But I was referring to the picture that messy posted. Over here its called a Vigor. It doesn't resemble a accord in any way. But that car for sale is called a vigor even though it has flip ups just like our 3geez do.

Time for some education guys:

Accord Timeline:
http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/ModelData/accord/index.html

Vigor Timeline:
http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/ModelData/vigor/index.html

The Vigor that was imported to North America was the 3rd gen Vigor. This doesn't mean this is the only Vigor that existed in the world.

And the last one:

What? In September of 81 the 2nd gen hatch had PGM-FI?

Someone really needs to translate that page...

The car for sale is a JDM Vigor. The only difference between the JDM 3G Accord and the JDM 2G Vigor is the trunk does not have the license plate attached. Instead it is in the bumper. That is all.

Here is NZ we have metric shitloads of old used imported JDM cars and there are plenty of vigors and accords of all ages/types here. Very few aerodecks though.

Well, the 88-89 Vigor has a different front grille and has chrome accents on the bumper and mirrors.

Nah, they had a CVCC engine. I guess we were lucky in Canada and didn't get those POS.
