well, since i bought elijahs car, i figured out that i probably have to put everything back in stock form, and remove the gauges temporarily to get everything running fine then put them back on. ive run into a problem right now with the ignition coil. apparently, he cut the connecters that plug into the coil since he ran an aftermarket one. im running a stock one for now, so im going to need a bit of help.

currently, only one of the wires for the radio condensor(the thing next to the stock coil) is plugged in, and i cant seem to find the other plug for it. can someone tell me where both of those plugs should be in an untouched accord?

times like these, i wish i kept my old one, or atleast taken alot of pictures for reference

Why not just leave that coil in there?

here is a pic. The blue wires are neg and the black/yellow are positive.

trying to post some pics. I am using an aftermarket coil so this may not help you.

those 2 wires on the left of the picture connect to the radio condensor. can you get me a picture of whichi bundle of wires their found in the engine bay?

since i decided that im goint to be going EDIS route instead of stock ignition, does anyonw know which one of those wires works the tach on the cluster, and what both the positive wires do? im eliminating whatever wires i dont need since with EDIS, ill be creating my own loom anyways

You may not need those, I will edit in the color code in this post so you can have that. Since your going EDIS I assume your timing controller (MJ?) will have a tach feed that may work on the oem tach. The other negative pole wire goes to the fuel pump relay, and I think you by passed that too didn't you?
Since there are common colors it would be confusing to write it so a picture is a thousand words

as far as the engine harness goes, ive gutted it to be basically 6 wires or so. with the chassis harness, i havent touched a single wire yet. im using megasquirt for timing control, and since im too lazy to build the tach circuit, ill be using an MSD tach adapter to drive the tach on the cluster, and every other RPM related accessory i have.

thanks for the picture roodoo2, that picture helps me quite alot. BTW, is that picture found in the service manual?

where does that black/yellow wire going out from the coil actually go to? it says dash f/* and i have no idea what that wire would actually do

they should both be next to the stock coil the leads for the condenser are only three inches long the guy might have tucked one of them back into the wire loom so i would start there

i wouldn't even worry about the condenser lead,it does nothing but supress some radio infererence. some people get confused and think it works like in a points system.but all it does is supress some rf interence. actually if it shorts it will keep the car from running.
