I have an 89 accord lxi and need to replace one of the rear wheel cylinders so I am going to change them both. The only problem is 89 had to be a dumb year and have different rear wheel cylinders or so I am told. Is this true? I was told 86-88 are the same and in 89 and only 89 they used a different type of wheel cylinder. Can someone help me so I know what to buy.

possibly. it could also be honda changing to a different mounting scheme to cut costs.
