how do you install a civic air box on a 86 DX?

before anyone rips on me i have searched and came up with nothing.
i went to the yard today and bought a civic air box for the early civic f/i's and i heard that you can mod them for the carb accords but how would you do it?

basicly take a dremel and start cutting untill it fits. don't cut too much because it is a lot harder to get the material stick back together.

yeah you might have to fab up a new lid since the stock one might hit your hood or just cut the underneath of the hood support.

ive already made a lid but i wuld like to know how some of the other members made theres. like an instruction manual scence im one of those guys that messure once and cut twice lol.
