New setup

I got tired of the sony's that i had so i went and got my self some Polk Audio db6500 6-1/2" component speaker system for the fronts and for the rear, Polk audio db690 6"x9" 3-way car speakers. they sound really good. the 6x9's sound a bit more bassy since its only a 3 way and my sonys were 4way. the Polk Audio db6500 6-1/2" component speaker system sound really clear! in the near future im going to get a amp for them, but right now my 52x4 deck will do

actually....i would never recommend that shit. ive had two of them. lol really they're ok if you want your sound system to sound like a stock bose system of some cars. they do give you some bump...but its mainly a clarity issue. they kinda suck. the first one i had was just the basslink then i had the newer one with the cool 4ch amp....the amp sucks and the sound of the sub sucks. i used to have it in my altima. i think it would be better if you drove a hatchback but in a sedan where its enclosed in your trunk it sucks

i have pics of it somewhere. once i find them ill post them to show you how small it is and how much space it saves...which really is the only good part of it the sound kinda sucks

i have an audiobahn 6006t or some shit...its 75 RMS on each channel it could power 2 10 inch subs and 2 6by 9

not right now...i want to build a custom trunk so i can have an amp rack and secure it all down...i just have a 300watt amp and it hits alright....i turn it on high and it had a headache like 10 mins after....not good..lol

sure...when i had to change out my windows i had to take off my speaker and the wire fell off...lol i had to re-crimp it ...ask pico he is my witness

well i didnt have any problems where the amp just blows. the problems ive had with audiobahn amps is that they make my subs sound like shit. rip and tear because they fucking distort and move too much. now with jl amps and alpine amps...all ive had is clarity. yes ive had a few blown alpine and jl amps but the factory replaces them if they're still under warranty.

i mean every once in a while you will get JUST a faulty product. but when you try different ones with the same speaker and all but jl and alpine make them sound like shit....you kinda stick with what works and sounds the best.

and u know thats 100% true ive heard and owned plenty of systems that were cheap but sounded better than the expensive stuff lol like my 3 sony p5's and old school fosgate setup i had that shit slapped and it still does just in a 96 caddy now lol but it only cost me like 300 bucks tops to put together
