The last two days my car has been having a bit of a problem. I will get in it and it starts no problem. After driving in for not even ten minutes and running into the store, it will not start. I have checked all the spark plugs and wires and that is all in order. It is fuel injected. Could anyone help me out?

it could be your main relay.

I found out that the problem is a faulty fuel pump. The "on/off" switch in the fuel is defective and not turning on. I've been having problems with it since we have been receiving some colder weather. I hope to have it replaced this week, but i have to replace the tank at the same time. So, i guess that I can expect to be spending 500 bucks.

you shouldn't have to replace the tank. if i'm not mistaken, taking up the floor in the trunk allows you to pull the pump up out of the tank and change it that way. just remember no electric tools and to disconnect the battery, etc. while you're working on it. and it's a great time to go walbro 255 lph for the peace of mind in know that the fuel will be there when you need it.

Unfortunately my tank will only take twenty bucks of gas. So i'm assuming that the tank has holes it in.

if the main relay is stuck the pump won't run. you should jump the relay and see if the problem persists before you replace the whole pump. a new pump with the same relay will act the same
