was looking around on ebay and saw this LX-i.... with what looks like factory leather (including leather door panels)

was leather an option for lx-is? or did someone swap in an sei interior? everything else looks stock so im doubting an interior swap.. and the leather looks worn too

it also looks to be a swap cause the back seats look cloth if they were leather it would be shiny like the front

could have been a dealer package. some dealerships would have leather installed in cars that weren't available with leather. i've seen LXs in the junkyard with factory-looking leather (maroon both times). worn to bits, too. i just assumed it to be an aftermarket dealer application.

8. 4-wheel disc brakes
9. 2 of the special colors are Brittany Blue and Asturias Gray, there are a couple of other colors too.

actually ive seen an lx with brown leather seats. and yeah they looked factory, either that or someone went through the trouble of having the interior redone in shit brown leather.

i took a pic of it with my phone but it got stolen so i dont have it anymore :(

emailed the seller and he said it was factory, but he's just a retailer so he prolly doesn;t know if it was factory or dealer... though i suspect it is all oem stuff (ie the same parts as the sei)

and yeah it looks like the backs aren't leather but they are

Man that interior is cleannnnnnnnnn. I saw a sei coupe here a couple of months ago. It had that same color interior. I was very tempted to swap it into my hatch but the seat were ripped pretty bad

Im not sure as ive only had the one sei sedan but I think the design on the door panel is different than stock. i wonder if someone swapped in the seats and had the door panels done. Ive never seen a monoerey green metallic sedan sei and i can 99% promise you they didnt make it. I can also tell you the tan leather interiors didnt come with black tops on the panels. Since they are 89 model years only the entire interior is tan.

I feels bad. I know of 2 sei sportin cloth and rear drums and 2 lxi sportin leather and 4 wheel disc brakes. Id hate to be the guy that goes to buy it and finds out its a jacked up model

For some reason, that leather doesn't strike me as being "Honda" leather. Just the pattern of it and the way it shines makes me think that its aftermarket leather. Thats a very clean interior though for being such a light color.

^^^^ that pic Messy, if you look, the seat belts are tan, in the LX-i, they are black. So my guess is it's a swap, because in the SE-i the belts match the seats. I think in all of our 3gee's it's like that.

on my dx the seatbelts are bown and my lx-i its burgundy

15. Front/rear sway bars (maybe on LX-i also).

leather as a dealer option,

its not oem Honda cause the sticthing on the seats and especially on the door panels are not correct.

Dealers usually use local shops when doing things like this. Im pretty sure leather was one of the dealer options.

Kind of strange that they didn't put the fogs in as standard equipment on the SE-i. Maybe fogs were originally only available as a dealer-installed option? I'm just as happy, because I don't think they're very attractive in the knock-out locations. Better as installed in the grill, small and round.
