I got some new rims at the yard..BBS

I went to the yard the other day. Look what i found on a 3g coupe...

The car had all 4 rims, two bent up and two really good. I took the good ones and now think I should have got all 4? thay are 15" and I think thay were from a VW..what do you guys think these(just 2) are worth? and should I go back and get the bent ones?

Yeah if there not bent really bad you shold be able to have a wheel shop repair them .

well, thay looked really bad. Thay still had tire held on them tho. I thnk I can get new outer rings for them now. about how much are new ones or just not bent ones? and what are the two parts called. the barrels are the big main part and the lip is whats bent to hell. I think..

they look like good meshies and the lip is nice on them...depending on how bad they are bent you can take em into a rim/tire place where they can fix em like pico said...i would call around and ask for prices.

those are from an older BMW most likely...a buddy of mine had those same wheels in gold on his 88 civic sedan

oh yeah it also depends on the price....i bet they are like 40 bucks a rim and tire at the junkyard...that how much my friend got charged when his studs broke off when he hit a curb

well, this is a pic of one of the good ones I got. I left the bent ones, then found out I can replace the bent lip. But Im having a hard time finding some...I want to find and order the lip befor I go and get the other bent rims..

the lip can come off on these. I was just going to get new lips for the bent two. But I don't want to buy two bent rims and not find lips. One of the rims I didn't get had such bad curb rash that just making it straight wouldn't be enough to make it look any good. I was looking all day at work for new lips. I think I'm just going to hang on to these and look for two more good ones....O well. At least I have 1/2 of what I wanted. That's better then 0..

nice man. i had found some like those but different brand. they were two piece though, but had really torn up rims and they wanted too much for them. was on an se-i that i got my side skirts and rear bumper kit from that i've still not put on the car.
