air conditioning compressor ...should i?

Im in the process of removing my alternator belt cause it squeaks really bad...and in order to take it off i have to take 2 other belts off ...air compressor belt and power steering belt. so the question is ..is it okay for me to do away with my air compressor belt completly?..my ac doesnt work anyways and i never use that function...is it robbing power?

yes, it's robbing a little power and no, won't hurt your car any to not put it back on. that's the good thing about not having a serpentine belt. :) oh, :welcome: and enjoi your stay. post some pix for us to ogle over.

Yeah you dont need it on there if it doesnt work.
I removed mine completly on the engine I'm putting in

yup it good to take it off i took all the ac stuf out of my car and runs runs fine and even took out the power stering
