Hi there, the search option not working for some reason but I got a short and sweet question about the spark plug.
What would happen to my engine if I put too hotter plug or too colder plugs in it? Would my engine detonate and melt a hole in the piston? Just wondered what would happen if I instaled the wrong plugs, cheers

If the tip of the spark plug is too hot it can cause pre-ignition leading to detonation/knocking and damage may occur. If it is too cold, electrically conductive deposits may form on the insulator causing a loss of spark energy or the actual shorting-out of the spark current.

Messy,
Even the V-power plugs come in varying heat ranges. The proper plug type (including part number) should be on the tune-up spec sticker under the hood.

When I changed mine I used:

NGK Part # 7634 {Standard Plug #BPR5ES11}
{.044 gap}

They the OEM Replacement.
