the front one was smashed, but the laminate held it together. the rear was tinted with crappy tint, so it bubbled. i have 2 other clean back windows, though.

Poor LX-i

trust me, it's not as "poor" of a story as you'd think. a good 20 members of this board have parts of that car in/on their car.

dam fool! thats a shit load of junk cars...

Vanilla Sky

they're not all junk. i just sold one of them as an autocross car. runs great, just not too pretty to look at.

i store cars when i can catch a good deal on one, then i will do some work to it and sell it for a bit of money. i've been parting 3geez since i was 14, and i've been rebuilding cars since i was about 17.

honestly, why does it matter how a car gets crushed? i'm thinking about calling the junk man to get one of these other cars, just because i want it gone. it's stripped to the point of being nothing more than a shell, so where do you think it's going to go? straight to the crusher.

at least in cutting them up, i can cut patch panels out and sell them here (rear wheel arches are solid in the two i'm cutting up).

Starting early, just like me. I changed the water pump on my car (with the help of my dad) when I was 13. Its funny how people think because I'm only 17, that I know nothing about cars, when in reality I've pretty much disassembled and reassembled every part of this car besides the engine.

it's good to learn early!

I know a few ppl on this forum that are young and are more mature then some of the older members.

Can't Really tell your 17 and I can't really tell Matt is 15

the one i had back then is the one in the pic next to the one i cut. i'm driving a white LX now.

yeah, i kind of enjoy the freedom to put whatever i want in my back yard, no matter how white trash it is :D. makes me feel delightfully redneck.

what a shame but its going to a better place.

we should get a bunch of dead 3geez together and take them all apart and take mesurments and make a full model in inventor or solid edge/works and make a full set of drawings for are cars so we can go and get panels made and shit truly making are comunity one of a kind!! when i finaly find the 1gee manual i am going to scan it and put it up for us.. there stuff in it that is usefull in the 3geez that is not explaned in the 3gee shop manuals lol kinda need the 2gee shop manuals too.....

1ajs, that's the reason i took the pics of the cross sections of the frame. i figured the car could give us that information, even in death.
