ok dumb question...my drivers side window track either broke or the window came off the back. how do i get the damed door panel off to take a look at it..

take out all the screws and then pull out the panel and then push up and the panel should come out.

most likely the window has come loose from teh holder..get a glue gun ready and be diligient..mess up and you'll have a whistling window (like me) the back of the window rail is adjustable..and for crying out loud..be careful in there..the metal has razor sharp edges

bah i took the door apart and the clip that holds the window on the track is broken :( and the honda dealer never gets it right when i order parts!!!:wtf:

As an aside, that "panel release tool" mentioned in the shop manual picture is a really good thing to have. Not only does it make popping off the door easier, it's great for removing the plugs from the trunk side panels..if you use a screwdriver to try to do this you'll mess them up. You can get the tool in any auto parts store for 3 or 4 bucks.

yeah...it looks like a V-shaped tip....it does come in handy i used one today
