I know there are some people complaining about making new thread
for ebay item but I couldn't let it go.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-ACCORD-NEW-KONI-SHOCKS-FRONT-REAR-1982-1985_W0QQitemZ320072899813QQihZ011QQcategoryZ33590 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Thats why nobody is excited about it, I see now.
However, it is incredible that you can buy Koni full set for 50 bucks
whenever you want!!!

I've got a full set for mine. I paid less than $50 for them. They should work for the 2g or 2.5g. They had the same suspension setup as far as I can remember.

But man, its cool that you post this kinda stuff on here. I appreciate you guys keeping the lookout. I try to keep my eyes peeled for 3g stuff too, but usually I don't find much. If I do, usually you guys already have found it before me. :)

Maybe rockcord or drucifer would be interested in them. I took a set up to guyhatesmycar, so he's got his.

Check this out: Koni's for the 1g, about $50 for the set

I've bought a set off this guy already! Waiting on them arriving as my 2gees (original from new) shocks are past it.

Can't complain for the price & should make the car far better to drive I hope.

Will these affect ride height or will I have to look at the springs for that?

No, all the KONI Red are oil shock with no gas so it shouldn't change the ride height at all.
You will be very happy with the difference it will make.
Don't forget to adjust the rebound damping properly - there are some article about it in this site.

Actually, I'm not sure. But why woudln't they fit on your friend's SEi? You have to cut the housings up and pull the old struts out of the factory housings, then the Koni's 'slide' in. So if you were trying to just bolt them in like a 3g, I don't think that would have worked.

I know this is literally years since the last time this thread was active so this might be a long shot!
Does anyone have a recent working link for budget coilovers for a 1985 accord?
