I have typical rust in both of the rear wheel arches, but relatively minor, maybe 3" long on the right and 4" on the left (the paint is still intact). Searching, I noticed there is a place that sells replacement arches for around 40 bucks. Although I really don't need such a drastic measure now, I'm wondering if I should buy a couple of them and throw them in the basement for the future. Anyone have a sense of how available these things are, and whether they are getting harder to find? The company was Mills Supply, I think. OTOH, if any part would continue to be popular, I suppose it would be the arches.

they're somewhat available. if i were you, i'd take care of the rust now. it spreads fast. there's a reason we call it cancer.

i can take pics of my daily driver and the rust that's happened in the couple of months i've had the car.

get them now. because you know when you actually need them they'll be out of production.

TRUE THAT!!

if you plan to keep your car for an Extended period get some!

I feel that way with any RARE part for our cars, If you can afford a spare BUY IT! Worse that happens is you sell your extra at a later time.

Are you referring to my cross-canada link? If you look around the page you can find arches, panels, and all sorts of good stuff. Plus they ship to virtually everywhere.
