? the whole thing is orange on 86-87 accords... only the 88-89 bumpers come with the orange insert. I think you were mis informed... anyways you'll have to buy some plastic from florecent lights and use that as a new lense or buy clear plexi glass.

pm jim, he had a site up that showed how to make them... basically u have to use some spacers to push the housings out away from the bumper, since the new lens you will make will not be convex like the old one. so you need to make sure the lens doesnt look like it is too far back.

I have a pair of lens made. I could not find any good lenes, I usually use jeep turn signal lenes. But every single one was messed up. So tried a pair of dodge shadow plastic headlights. They don't look quite as good as the jeep one's you see pictured in the how to link. But they are for sale. I will only sell them on a exchange basis, you get clear lenes and modified housings and in return I must get your old housings sent back to me in the same box that you new lenes came in. Otherwise I'd have to charge a hecka high price to cover material costs.

At the junk yard 2 dodge shadow headlights cost $34, 2 jeep turn signal assemblies cost $32, unless you can get in on a rare 1/2 price sale.

jimbo (jim) pm me, are those jeep lenses clear? DO you have a pic of them, do they fit in a 1986 LXi HB? Ohhh, I just got a giddy feeling.
