i've decided to mount my sub in my rear deck between the 6x9s for better sound. it will be in a box, not free air, and i will be sound deadening the crap out of the rear deck. one problem will be the torsion bars for the trunk lid. i'm planning on using struts like on a hatchback, i just need to figure out the best place to put them. i'm thinking i'll build a raised grill like the 6x9s so it has a factory look to it. the only real big issue is weight, will the rear deck hold the weight of the sub or will it need bracing? i'm hoping to start on it soon, it will be a little while before it will be completely done, but i'll post pics as i go.
