Well I started pulling most the interior yesterday, and today I should be finished, Then I'll start tucking wires getting rid of no essential wiring, and excess braketry.

are you gutting the car and cleaning it up, or just taking the interior out so you can run clean wiring etc?

I think I am about to take the final plunge and gut my car ONCE AND FOR ALL! your empty hatch inspires me. Do you have plans for paint etc?

anyway it looks good man!

Gutting it for good, I have a guy thats going to build me a custom cage for it as soon as I get my trans replaced, He builds sprint car frames so it should be a pretty good cage, as for paint just redo it the same color. Less weight=GO FAST!

OK I'm done for the weekend! The only thing that remains in my interior is the shifter, the parking brake, the ecu, rear view mirror, dash, and door panels, but I will be yanking those soon after I get new belts installed, so someone can have a new set of black seatbelts. Now I'm charging the battery and see if the "Louie Eater" will start.

I read that a stock camshaft is the best for turbo, i might be wrong though. I like what you have planned but its going to cost like 5k to do all of that. Good luck.

02-10-2007, 01:31 PM
No. It stopped working the night before I picked up the teg. It cranks and fires, but won't start. Not even if you spray fuel straight into the carb. I'd try to figure out why, but I can't keep the car anyway, and I don't feel like dropping 6Gs on bodywork even if I could, so...

Cant wait to see it done. Make sure you clean up the seal and oil it with the oil your going to use in the tranny. This way it goes in smoother.

They come pre greased from Honda. I got it all bolted up and everything is ready, well almost....

Left to do to get it on the road again:
Buy the right engine oil, I wasn't paying attention and bought 5w20 instead of 5w30.
Pick up my new positive battery cable, I moved it to the rear while I had it out.
Get new speed sensor.

Then its off to get the cage installed.

Are you serious, your getting a cage. What are you going to be running for suspension? If you have not figured out just yet, PM and I will tell you something I am working on right now (trying to keep it a secret untill I figure it out). It might be worth your while to wait. if you'r going to take it to the track you are going to need a manual shutoff for that batt. if i remember right the shutoff must kill the motor aswell.

But slow and steady wins the race. Went to install the oil pressure sensor but its stardard thread so I need to find an adaptor. So I'll have to wait on that, just picked up 450 blue tops from my buddy, now I need to get the manifold and rail and regulator ordered. Does anybody know if any other better flowing filters fit in our cars stock location? I'll probally just buy an AEM high flow filter.
