Recently picked up a garret for my new engine ;)

came off a volvo 240 only cost $60, and if i ever need a turbo manifold for a volvo 240 series i gots one!

has NO shaftplay :-D

it is a little on the "small" side but it should spool nice and quick and should be good for 10-12 psi all day long

Hit that with some brake parts cleaner and all that grime will fall right off. Just make sure to cover the inlets on the turbo, so the grime dosent go inside the turbo. Good find BTW

That turbo will certainly not push to the limit of forged pistons, but with a really good tune you could run some nice boost on stock internals.

i say 350 for a log mani is a pretty good price...not much more than youd pay for a header...

that log looks pretty damn good. i would pay 300 all day for an a20 log that isn't even made by any aftermarket companys.:violin:

That log looks pretty good. I have some questions though. What turbo will he be making them for? and what are you going to do as far as a downpipe?

ZackieDarko
02-03-2007, 02:27 PM
i explained to him that its for an A20 and that it will definetly be a little different then what he normally does

it will be for my garret (which i think is a T25 btw) and as for a down pipe im gonna hit up the yards find an OEM one and have one fabed from that unless he can make one for me just by looking at teh turbo

he said he can make a top mount for $800 if anybody is intrested in one of those bad boys

he also said he would need half down if i want a manifold , so i am assuming if any of you want one the same would be required

LiTtLe xOx BitT
02-03-2007, 05:50 PM
Theres not much of a downpipe on our stock setup because of how far the manifold goes down. A downpipe will have to be fabbed up on the car most likely. Once he installs the manifold and bolts the turbo to it he can get the measurements and the angles of the bends for the downpipe.

ZackieDarko
02-03-2007, 07:44 PM
i cant decide if i wana get the manifold made in about a month or pick up a spare engine and let it sit there while i tear it down
