Yep I took mine out and smashed 'em stupid POS!! It was fun smashing them though!! Now I have sylvania bright whites....mmmm yummy!

removing the lense or whatever it is might improve them a little but you're still not gonna be happy with the light output cause there's no diffusion. trust me i had some. it didn't matter most of the time to me cause i live in a city but whenever i wasn't on well lit road they sucked

ive got silverstar sealed beams now which i like, though it was raining hard the other night and i wished i had for lights or something

Silicone II Household Glue. that should hold out the water pretty nice

They have glass lenses. I have had them on the car for about six years and they have never leaked and have a good light pattern. Honestly, though, the high output sealed beams are good, too.

i got performance sylvainya on the car currently they do the job i just want a lil brighter high beam
so i figure i buy these H4 conversions from ebay put em on and they SUCK so needless to say i rip em apart remove a glass blub that really has no place there and im waiting for them to dry and test em out...if the dont work i'll take the hammer to em

Best money I ever spent was buying Hella glass housings with APC bulbs. I don't car if I get flamed for using APC, I never had a problem with them and I used the same bulbs in my Accord, then I transfered them to my Civic, then to my Focus. The Hellas had built in daytime running lights I hooked up. They were fantastic. I wish I hadnt ever given them away.
