i have a few questions for all my fellow 3geez out there....ive been doing some work on my car in the back end. im looking in to making clear corners and i go to take my tail light section and there are 4 nuts....only problem the nuts are in american standard not metric....i looked at the other light same thing....im kinda supsiciuos cuz the break light covers were made in dec of 88 and my car was made in sep 89?..are they swapable and it looks like in the trunk there is a lot of like second layer metal matting and i donno something seems fishy to me cuz of that..am i paranoid or is there a probelm like it was in a fenderbender and never reported and the lights jsut were replaced or what?..any help guys thanks:(

our cars aren't knew, so peices probably just got lost and replaced. if it was in an accident that wasn't reported to you though, that sucks. but i'm sure you didn't get ripped off on the car.
