View Full Version : does the AC have its own belt?

like the topic says. i gotta modify my crank pulley really soon, and i wanna know if the water pump and alternator runs on a single belt, and AC on a belt of its own. would also be nice if someone knew which pulley they ran off of

The alternator and water pump share one belt. The A/C has its own belt and so does the power steering pump.

have u ever opened your hood and looked at the motor thats normally the easiest way to figure easy questions out

my motors been apart for almost a year, so i cant really go back from memory

The alternator and water pump share one belt. The A/C has its own belt and so does the power steering pump.

lol...yeah....ac has its own belt....mine never had one...im thinking of taking my whole a/c sytem after pico did his....it looks cleaner and saves like 30 pounds of junk
