Ight so i plan on tinting my tailights, Ive heard and seen of people just going to walmart and picking up some 20% tint and using silicon glue around the edge to hold it on, will this work good and any pointers would be apreciated.
Thank Adam

I would just use niteshades, it will look a lot better up close in my opinion. Not only that you can control how dark they will be. Just be careful about how dark you make them or you will get pulled over. And make sure you take the tail lights off the car and tape them off before spraying them. I have 2 cans od nite shades in my shed, im going to do mine when it gets a little hotter, 7 degrees with a windchill of -3 isnt the best time to be spraying anything.

Check out ebay:

.
You MUST thoroughly clean your lenses w/ paint prep/cleaner made for plastic. If you want a really good look, wet sand them w/ 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper to polish them out, then buff and clean before painting. I put on about 4-5 coats on mine. I never clear-coated mine so they're starting to look flat, but I still like the effect compared to stock.:)

.
Here's what it looks like with the brake lights on and the turn indicator on, in daylight. You won't have a problem at night or daytime, the lights look just almost as bright as stock when they're on.
