If you're worried about the motor, just swap in one from a gsr ;).

At that price you need to spend the extra and get the b18c5

Teg is longer by at leat 8" so you will have to have it lenghtened.

If you do go with the gsr motor you really have to get the gsr tranmisson to. The GSR's power curve really, REALLY needs the gearing it gets from the factory. If you can't keep the thing spinning past 4800rpm's it ain't much fun at all. I have no idea how the ratio's are different, but I can find out. I do know that at 60mph that the GSR does spin faster. As a added plus the shift's have shorter throw's with the GSR and it is more precise, one of the best FWD shifters I've ever driven, superior to the shifter in the new RSX btw.

On the generation of civic platform on which the 2nd gen teg is based ,the muffler is located sideways (pointed left to right) underneath what should be the spare tire well. That difference and others should pretty much rule out you 3rd gen exhaust system.

I actually haven't ruled out the exhaust! I've seen some cutstom work to have the exhaust straight back........but I have a tech problem that I will go and post now!
