Had a bit of a clean up inside the 3G and thought u guys might want a look at the climate air controls and bumper pole thing.

turned off:

The climate control is so damn cool... I say if I could have one thing for my 3g right now aside from a motor it would be that.

You have the climate air controls? Are they in the donor car and do they work ok?

yup, they in the donor car, they work fine, the guy said the a/c needs regassing though, but seemed to work good for us :)

Quick question, You guys have a wiring schematics of the auto-climate control unit? Would be helpful. Also, nice pics, i always admired those units. :)

PS: The Bumper Pole looks very excited.............

damn those buttons are sweet i have the damn levers which when its really cold are like frozen where they were lol

same with my key for sum reason anyone know if theres a way to fix that as in my key being really hard to turn when its cold (sry for thread jackin)

congratulations on the car! Nice climate controls and and stereo. So these bumper poles doesnt have a honda logo on top op them? Can you take a peep of whats beneath that little vent in the center console?

No logo on the bumper pole.

Underneath the small vent is a small fan and temperature sensor, it's for the climate air controls.

Overdosed is trying to fit climate controls to his Vigor which had push button controls. If he figures it out then everyone with push buttons could do it.

I think swapping to climate controls involves a lot more than just the controls. A bunch of wiring, temp sensor and another vent system without cables but with motors instead. You probably will need to rip out all of the interior and swap the main harness and blower housing/vent canals.
I have the controls myself but they are useless on their own.
Do you know if the '87-'88 bumper poles have honda logos?

yeah, im gonna have to swap the whole damn lot over, which is alright with me since i have all the time in the world, but still quite BLAH..

and the 87-89 accords have the little H on top of the bumper poles
