Well I just had a new Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust system installed on my car friday, its a straight through Magnaflow XL series polished stainless steel muffler with 2.25in piping to the cat. sounds pretty good. Sorry about the crappy pic quality, they were taken with my phone. :/

i wouldn't lower it with that muffler on, you'll smash it its really close to the ground. Why didn't you just buy a normal magnaflow?

They exhaust guys said that muffler was more aggressive and deep sounding, so i went with that one. Im still undecided about lowering the car. It might just be a hassle where i live. In the mountains, all kinds of elevation changed, some shitty roads, all driveways are inclined, I would probably rip my front end off, I scrape enough as it is already. But if i lived in the city, where its nice and flat... It would already have coilovers, struts, and sway bars.

oh, well, mtns is no excuse for no sway bars. you'll still benefit w/o the car being lowered.

cai, you mean? :) and since you have lx-i, you should have sway bars from the factory. although the 3gb bars might be a bit larger than your 3ga bars. if you're talking strut tower bars, good luck. could wait til the next time someone's hawking a dcs tower bar and pay an arm and a leg for it.

Thanks everyone! Nah, I kept the resonator on, because I didn't want the ricey sound, its not as loud, but it has a really nice, deep, throaty tone to it. As for miles on the car, she just turned 150k yesterday, and as far as weather goes, its been garage kept its entire life, and babied by and old lady until she died. I don't have a garage empty enough to put her in, so when the weather is bad, I throw a tarp over her. =) If i can get a good deal on struts and coil overs, ill lower the car. Any recommendations? What else will i need?
