P/S Fluid Foaming!

On my '88 LX-i, there has been a recent occurance of the power steering fluid foaming over and leaking out of the resovoir, which could possibly damage the paint. Does anybody know what the problem is (bad seals, pump, etc.?)

I don't think so. The level was between min and max just a couple of days ago.

well when the car is on and some one moves the wheel mine also moves...its just pushings the fluid into and out of the system

i was getting the foalming, but only in really cold weather..the system is pretty simple..I'd take a wag and say it was a check valave in the pump..didi make a gawdawful mess when teh fuild was up to level..luckily the new beater doesn't do that..I will have to change the pump out on the old beater ( I have one in stock) as it's leaking and made a horrid mess out of the engine bay ( not to mention the hassle and expense of getting honda PS fluid at the dealer)
