Factory fitted CD player??!

Did the SE-i get a CD player? I didn't think the 2.0Si did, but it seems like this Si Exclusive has one :O

BTW it's a manual B20A leather interior car with every conceivable extra that these cars ever came with. And to think I already bought a 3G :( :( :( I'll still put a few bids on this one, but really I can't afford a huge fleet of them lol.

Very cool, does it just hook up to a stock radio somehow? The Japanese must have saved it only for their rarest most high spec model, I've never seen a standard 2.0Si with one.

Now I gotta try and find one at a wreckers :P

well i asume they wire up like the 4th gen ones were theres a plug that goes into the tape player, and goes into the main harness

If I get it I'm gonna gut it :P But I won't be getting it, I gotta get a cheap pile of junk for a doner car.

But you never know, there is always the slim chance that someone in Wellington might buy that Si Exclusive and see it for the treasure it really is, they might even find their way on to these forums :) Reality is that some kids will get it and it will be lost forever :(

it plugs into that 8 pin din plug.

In all my years of travel i have only ever come around one car that had it. It was an sei in a junkyard that noone knew about back in like 1995.I was a perfect condition sei coupe in green.

i bet its cheaper to get an aftermarket cd player then get a OEM one....but just because they are soo rare.....it make it worth it....and od congrats on your 3000 post....i still remember when i poped my 3000 post

i mised this thread and that car..... and i thought my car was optioned. but a stock cd player damn thats some up market equipment for the 80s. prolly only came in the 1988-1989s tho. im not a fan of leather interior it gwets too hot on your ass when u leave it in the sun. i was gunna buy a 2.0si with leather interior wwaayyyy back when i owned a mitzy but i decided not to cause i thought 800 was too much for it. it had a cd player but it may have been aftermarket alltho it was in the same spot as this ones one.

You've missed heaps while you were gone. I think back then I didn't even own a 3G, now I've got 3 of the damn things.

Anyway I'm probably going to buy a sony SACD head unit for my Torneo and stick the CD player from the Torneo in the 3G. Then I can listen to my SACDs and DVD Audio (although only the DTS tracks) in my car. Still that means I have to get some new DLS or Infinity speakers for the 3G and an amp to power them all. More money :(

good effort. in total i have owned:

MY4472 - my 1st accord.. nz new a20a2 base model boring rusty had it for 12 months

SB998 - my 1st 2.0Si..auto had a blown head gasket body was good apart from a rust hole... used it then converted it to manual.. it never got a wof or rego but i used it for a year

RP5476 - 85 accord 2.0 si current car, bought from auckland, 3 b20a engines later its actually legal and my daily driver

****** - bought from a dumpyard for the engine to replace the fucked engine in RP5476

TS4005 - 86honda acord 2.0Si auto.. bought for the f1 interior

SO**** - 88 accord 2.0Si manual...bought it for digi dash and snoopys engine and gearbox

oo1851 - 87 accord 2.0Si - bought it for motor and gearbox for rp5476

and i got a b20a and auto box from a 2g lude for oo1851 and im gunna sell it.
