A20A Questions

OK here it goes, im sure theres a similar thread that i have yet to find but i wanted to know a few things. i have an 89 DX carb.
1. whats the A20's stock hp?
2.how much can i do to it with out rebuilding the motor?
3. what kinda boltons can i get to increase power?
I have a high flow ebay cat, pacesetter cat back exahust, and thats about it im currently working on getting a pacesetter header. as for that what other bolt ons are availible?

lol uht oh....its my daily driver i need stuff i can do in less then a day. i almost bought a crx for 1300 yesterday. still there but needs ALOT of cosmetic work. haha still thinking about it

lol...dude all these questions im sure are in the faq...thats why i said that a flaming is coming. plus a simple keyword search will help you find the things you asked about. click on advanced search under the search link and type in what you want to find then on the pull down menu select thread titles...everything will come up

1. stock carbed motor makes 98 hp at the flywheel, add the mileage on the engine and power train loss, you probably have about 70-75 hp at the wheels.

2. depending on your state laws and emission laws in your state, you can build 200hp engine very easy, that said only if you have no emission test.

3. since you are getting full exhaust with headers, next upgrade would be Weber carburator and perfromance camshaft. but that is about all you can do as far as easy bolt on. everything else will have to be custom made.

since it is your daily driver the bolt on parts should be fine for you.

Then you need to go turbo, which will cost you around $3000 for everything and thats if you do the work yourself.
