Hey, my sister wants an alarm for her 4th gen and I was thinking that an alarm with a voltage sensing system would be the best.

Are there any simple plug-and-play alarms that all you need to do is hook up power and ground and it is triggered by voltage drops (like if the Dome light turns on)?

She just wants something easy to install and operate.

THX!!! :)

Can't you just get a standard alarm and then just not hook up the other features? Shock sensor and voltage drop is better than nothing i guess. Remote locking ftw though :D

First 3 from the top.
i had their keyless entry, lasted about 1 year.
you better off with ebay alarm and do your own wirring.

my buddy had a bulldog alarm in his crx 4 years. it was a simple hook up, he only used 7 wires, power, ground, lights, siren, shock sensor, hood pin.

i had my lcd viper alarm/remote start hooked up in my accord. i just removed it, next time i am putting in a cheapo simple hook up with kill switch

i got a bulldog alarm and keyless entry unit
the alarm was easy to hook up (ground and power) but it is very sensitive
the keyless entry is doing ok, but the remote is crazy worn out

i like the remote starters with keyless entry. if you wire them right with starter disable it is the best thing.
I hate regular alarms that can go off when some jack ass bumps into your car.
