Hey guys,

I've been doing a bit of research on the older legends...now wouldn't a short ram intake pipe fit our cars without any modification what-so-ever from the 86-89 legends??? Here's an example of the pipe on ebay..let me know what you guys think.. I tried a search and nothing came up...

Well in my case, I would prefer to go short ram since i can leave it on all year and if i need to clean the filter its easy to access, and also in the winter i can take it off easily.

Prettly much all short rams will fit with no mods because they are short and they will only have one bend in it.

Ones with more bends are ment for a specific car and may have a harder time to fit, but any intake can be made to fit with a few cuts and pipe connectors/adaptors

I'm more concerned with the vacuum fittings on the intake pipe. For my 86 there are 4 fittings that have to go on there. Most intakes only come with two fittings on there.

Yeah it sucks. There's one going to the idle up valve, one to the valve cover, and two go to the vacuum system box on the firewall.
