Awesome.

not that you have to resize them but...smaller pics are nicer though when you try to compare two or more things because you can fit them on the screen at the same time instead of having to scroll up or down or side to side. The 300 X 200 pixl;e one is a good size, you can line them up in collumns that way

Cool, looks like it would fit. I checked some online parts stores the 90 amp alternators only went on 94 and up tegs. The earlier models had the 65, like ours. http://catalog.autohausaz.com/autohausaz/modelw.jsp?sid=g3l50o45za0abyzgglkoqa45&year=1994&make=AC

If it works, that would be awesome. 65 amps is just not enough.

has anyone thought to see if the guts on the teg alternator would fit in the accord case? it' perfectly possible the teg alternator is exactly the same with a high output stator and different regulator. I'm going to try this conversion myself too, since I have to replace my alternator anyways.

Does the legend alt just bolt on?

I pulled both the Accord and Integra alternators off the shelf and the only difference I can see on the ones we have here is the pulleys.
The accord has a 5 groove and the integra has a 4 groove

Does the output terminal on the legend clear everything? It looks like it would fit. Does anything have to be modified to get this to go in?

dont the integra differentiate form 90-93 and 95-01? maybe just the odb1 altinators had more power, i dunno 92-95 isent rerally a generation for the integra, its for the civic. i dunno if it really matters

That's what I'm thinking. I don't have Hollander at my house but I'm pretty sure you have Civic on the brain.

I checked with my rebuilder on this one and he say's that that wiring in the plug is different than whats on the accord alternator.
The plug looks the same but the wires are for different connections...

I checked the illustrated guide at work and the plug wiring is the same, It's just the mounting points for the adjuster and maybe the belt thats needs to be modified

out of curiosity, since the higher output alternators put out more power(obviously), wouldnt it overpower the entire charging system and what it was made to handle?

i would upgrade the battery one also....the negative is just connected to the chasis...and its real skimpy for 18 year old. also one from the intake manifold to the firewall. sheperd79 did a good DIY write up.

Just to make sure you said the 90-95 legend alternators work right? Cause I got one of off a 90 legend today at the junk yard but 88-89 legends had the exact same alternator. I got it mounted to my B20a with no problems but I just want to make sure that the A20 alterrnator plug in works with the Legend alternator

The 91-95 legend alternator is 110amps and the 88-90 is like 70amps.

Ok I got one today off of a 93 legend. But now I need new brackets. The 93 legend alternator is bigger than the 90 one. The Chevy 350 modified alternator bracket worked fine for the smaller one but it doesn't seem to fit the bigger one.

whatever became of this did the 91-95 legend alternator plug in and fit?

guaynabo89

yes it plugs in and yes it fits. You have to add a couple of washers to the upper bracket though to space it up.

I think I posted pictures somewhere.
