why do some of these kits have the small blue park lamp bulb in them? I don't see the point in it. When i do the conversion i'm not hooking them up, i'm just gonna plug up the hole. Why are they there?

My cousin bought a pair of these and put them on his 1990 Celica Hatch. They look pretty good.

About the cars that have the little blue light in them, you can remove that and put in strobes or whatever you want in there.

If it's a little tiny blue led that you're talking about, it's to add a blue tint to the headlight when it's on. The blue led mixes with the beam as it comes out of the primary bulb and the result is an HID blue bmw-ésque headlight beam.

Actually they can be used as parking lights as well..even turn signals....the little LED isnt what makes em look HID they usually come with xenon bulbs..and those look HID by themselves..i think i will get the halo ones next week..i wish they had a picture of the BWM 5 series lights they are talking about
