-I had just moved to Texas, I dont have a garage anymore, I live in an apartment. So I had no way to store it and work on it. hell i can barely change my oil without the damn apartment office people coming around in their golf cart.

If i was home in Louisiana, I bet you one thing, I would have fixed it at my dad's shop and I'd be rolling right now with a blow off valve or something.

Very cool! I love the 5th gen coupe. We only get them as imports and I think all are auto :(

Is yours a SiR model? They would be 200HP in manual :drool: Best we get is the 190HP auto version.

If you want any JDM stuff for it, let me know :) Things like the 2 cup holders in the lid of the arm rest, Honda Of America badges (wtf @ those being JDM), black housed lights etc

nice. not too bad. i like the black. although there's something about the 5g accords. the coupe looks a shade too short and the sedan looks like an overgrown civic. i think they look a little better with the 96 restyle. but all in all, they're not bad cars, especially with the reception of upgraded engines from japan. what other plans do you have? h22? h23 vtec? turbo? f20b? k-series? keep us posted!

yeah, they are. go the rare route and get the f20b. but it lacks the torque. or the h23 vtec. either one is much rarer. or just h22a headswap + turbo.

Franken motor comes up again, lol.

If you do this headswap, remember 3 things.

1. Your tranny is not meant for that motor. Its waaay to long geared.

2. Your bottom end redlines at 6200. The H22 head is made for near 8000.

3. Accord block has low compression (for H22 head)

Add these together and you have a motor that want to make power near 8000, but cant because the bottm end is limited to @6800ish, and then long gearing is gonna take you very far down the rev range with each gearshift, and you will have a car that is no faster than it was to begin with. You will also have lower than stock compression which would keep you from having the H22 head's stock power.

Do the full swap, and have no regrets.

Edit: Lose the chrome around the windows. See if you can get black from a DX coupe.

The accord is dead'n'gone homey. They totalled it and I used the $1800 to get the 5G.
